LEAD PROGRAM


Since its establishment in 1948 AIESEC promotes tolerance among young people from different backgrounds, religions and understanding in order to sustain the peace and have positive impact in the society.


The LEAD Program is designed to develop your leadership characteristics and competencies by leading a team of young students, to experience multi-cultural environment, building up your understanding about the world by participating in our International Internships, thus having complete personal enrichment and development.



By Joining AIESEC LEAD program you will:

  • Take part of learning environment which will help you develop your skills
  • Be part of a team in the first six months and working in the area of sales, finance, HR, social projects and developing your desired skills by being Proactive in your Learning
  • Experience Leadership by Leading a team, after six months, and contributing to the positive development of your peers and the society, broadening your Entrepreneurial Outlook and demonstrating Social Responsibility
  • Take part in our International Internships, volunteering in India, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey or another 100 countries, enlarging your scope by developing Global Mindset and tolerance towards difference by demonstrating Emotional Intelligence

Selection Period
If you pass the application, group assessment and individual interview, you can join as part of "LEAD" Program
1~3 weeks, depending on Local Committees' process
Induction Period
If you join AIESEC in March or September, you are required to attend AIESEC Regional Induction Conference to know more about AIESEC as well as cultivate your sense of social responsibility and enlarge your world view
1~2 weeks after joining AIESEC
Taking Responsibility
After joining AIESEC, every local committee would provide more than 20 hours training for each member, including management skills, function work and soft skills
3 months
Leadership Role
After working at the local committee for 6 months, members will be provided with the first round of leadership opportunities. All the members can apply for team leaders and receive leadership development trainings. In the next 6 months, the team leader would lead the team to achieve the team’s goal and may have the opportunity to compete for the "National Best Leadership Award"
Over 6 months. Different kinds of leadership opportunities will be provided
International Internship Opportunities
While working in AIESEC, the committee members are also encouraged to take the international internships to experience the different cultures all over the world and grow together with an International team in the cross-cultural environment
1~3 months
International Conference Opportunities
Every year, AIESEC provide more than 500 international conferences for AIESEC members to discuss social issues, international economic development, build up international network and grow together with all the outstanding students from all over the world
