Hands on China - Volunteer Program |
To promote Chinese university students to gain a deep understanding and action around development issues, we aim to get them involved in volunteering within a social issue in China (e.g. disadvantaged children, etc), learning about other development issues and volunteering abroad through AIESEC huge network.
Aiming to raise socially responsible sense of university students and capability of China NGOs, we provide opportunities to international students to work in China’s local NGOs in different fields as interns and help NGOs to build capacity at the same time. Meanwhile we create opportunities for Chinese students to act as volunteers to access such social issues as children, women, etc.
In total we tend to create 35 opportunities for international volunteers and get 420 Chinese students involved in volunteering within various issues. Therefore such activities as learning circles, trainings, etc will be hosted by AIESEC members.
